The Parliament of Belarus for the first time in 20 years there will be opposition


In the new composition of the Belarusian Parliament will be represented by at least two members of the opposition. This is evidenced by data obtained during the preliminary counting of votes.

Earlier it became known that in one of the districts of Minsk won the member of the opposition United civil party Anna konopacka.

Later, the Central election Commission of the country announced that the Parliament was also Deputy Chairman of the so-called Belarusian language Society (the organization considered the opposition and advocated for the development of the Belarusian language and culture) Elena Anisim. She also won in one of the districts of Minsk.

In addition, the Parliament passed the ex-presidential candidate Nikolai Ulakhovich, a famous athlete Vadim devyatovskiy and the head of the house of representatives of the National Assembly of the current convocation Vladimir Andreichenko.

According to the CEC of the country, the turnout in the country has exceeded 74 per cent. The greatest activity was shown by inhabitants of the Mogilev region.

The house of representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus – the lower chamber of the Belarusian Parliament, which consists of 110 deputies. The term of office of the legislature is four years.
