The principle of illusions based on the characteristics of the peripheral human vision, explains The Verge. The opinion focuses on one area of the grid, and everything that is at the edges of the brain is largely “thinking”, reproducing the repetitive grid lines, similar to those that are located in the center of the eye.

While there are existing points of attention fall. However, it should translate into their view, as they arise, and the former will disappear.

The newspaper quoted a member of the University of Queensland Derek Arnold, who calls the picture a reason for the “existential crisis” because it shows that people often can’t trust your own eyes

In connection with the new illusion users remember one of the most famous Internet memes of the past year — about the color of the dress that one seemed white gold and the other blue-black.
