Ukraine refused to hold on its territory elections to the state Duma of the Russian Federation


Petro Poroshenko instructed Pavel Klimkin to inform Moscow that the elections to the state Duma of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine impossible.

On the decision of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on elections to the state Duma of the Russian Federation said in his Facebook by his press Secretary Svyatoslav Tsigalko.

The President instructed the foreign Minister to inform Moscow about the impossibility of holding the elections on the territory of Ukraine”, – says the publication.

We will remind that earlier the Ukrainian Parliament has issued a statement to the international community, which called for the abandonment of monitoring of elections in Russia. In addition, the Verkhovna Rada demanded from foreign countries in any form not to recognize the elections in Crimea and Sevastopol.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Crimea – the territory of the Russian Federation and Moscow will not accept any decisions of foreign parliaments not to recognize the elections, as such decisions do not play any role.
