Syrian talks the USA and Russia ended with pizza and vodka

The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry failed to achieve a breakthrough in the Geneva agreement on Syria. First of all, it is a cease-fire. If the plan works – the parties will establish a joint body to coordinate strikes on terrorists. The negotiations lasted a record amount of time – more than 14 hours. Towards the end of the talks Lavrov even ordered to reinforce journalists ‘ pizza and vodka.

First of all, at the end of the negotiations, it was announced that the United States and Russia call on all parties to the conflict in Syria from September 12 to take on the obligations of the cease-fire. Once this mode is installed within 7 days, the United States and Russia will begin to create a special center which will be engaged in the disengagement of terrorists and the moderate opposition.

This Executive will work with representatives of special services of Russia and the United States, they will be engaged in the solution of practical problems.

In addition, the parties agreed on the procedures and mechanisms for the delivery of humanitarian assistance and coordination with the UN on these issues.

Lavrov also noted with satisfaction that John Kerry has announced his firm intentions to fight banned in Russia grouping “dzhebhat an – Nusra”. The Russian Minister stressed that this is not a concession to Russia.

Parties reported that, in General, the text of the agreements Russia and the USA on Syria will remain non-public for contained in the document “sensitive information”. According to TASS, Lavrov explained that the parties do not want the text of the document fell into the hands of those who want to try these arrangements to disrupt.

The Russian Minister explained that the process involved too many players, so an absolute guarantee implementation of the agreement on Syria no one can give.

In just more than 14 hours, Moscow and Washington agreed on five documents, which create conditions for the resumption of the political process in Syria.
