Egypt refused to supply Ukrainian wheat


The Egyptian authorities refused to import wheat from Ukraine, writes ЛІГА.net. Representative of the special Committee of the Egyptian Ministry of agriculture, Ashraf Khalil explained this decision by the fact that the Ukrainian grain infected with fungal disease ergot.

The ban on export of grain with ergot acts in Egypt since the end of August. As the world’s largest wheat importer, the country in th same reason refused of wheat from France, USA, Canada, Poland, Romania and Serbia, the newspaper notes.

Earlier claims to the supply of Ukrainian corn came to China, and Armenia and Belarus have refused to Ukrainian pork.
