Media: Iran has agreed to set oil prices at $50-60

The Iranian authorities agreed with the proposal by the representatives of Algeria to set oil prices at the level of 50-60 dollars per barrel, said the source Agency RIA Novosti.

According to him, the oil Minister of Algeria will soon meet in Paris with his counterpart from Saudi Arabia. Together with the Secretary General of OPEC, they will discuss oil prices.

Previously, Saudi Arabia and Russia issued a statement in which he indicated the willingness to work together to maintain balance in the oil market. Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Moscow and Riyadh are considering the possibility of freezing oil for 3-6 months.
