Putin acknowledged the full indexation of pensions in 2017

Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with candidates from the party “United Russia” that in 2017 and then the power will go to full indexation. Putin said that in 2015 the inflation rate was at 12.9%, and in 2016 is expected at 5.7-5.9 percent approximately. “And in the full amount from this price growth, we plan to index in 2017”, – RIA “news” words of head of state.

This year, the government had to index pensions for the President of 12.9%. But in reality, they were indexed by only 4%. The government promised that if the money will be in the fall, will be re-indexing. But as we know “no money”, so the government has announced that from January 2017 the pension will be paid to all pensioners at a time for 5 thousand rubles. Most likely many pensioners will receive the money in late December for the New year.

Earlier at the same meeting, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that President Vladimir Putin supported the approach in one lump sum.

As for next year, Dmitry Medvedev said that the country has the opportunity to return to full indexing. However, the pension index by 5-6%, as is likely, it is this level of inflation will be recognized officially in 2016.
