The Prime Minister of Japan will discuss the situation in the South China sea with the Philippines President


The Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe will meet with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in Laos. The sides will discuss China’s actions in the South China sea and, in General, controversial situation in the region.

In support of the Philippines Japan has announced plans to begin deliveries Manila patrol boats, which will eventually comprise up to ten.

Tokyo had already decided to grant Manila’s four combat training aircraft Beechcraft TC-90, which technically can be fitted with air surveillance radars.
