Russia’s reserve Fund for August lost 470 billion rubles


As is clear from the reports published on the website of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the country dramatically reduced the stocks of the Reserve Fund and national welfare Fund. First, this past August decreased by 470,18 billion rubles, NWF – to 123 billion rubles. Thus from both funds over the past month has been spent more than 600 billion rubles, i.e. more than 9 billion U.S. dollars.

Currently the total amount of the Reserve Fund is $ 2 trillion 90,1 billion rubles, NWF is 4 trillion 719,17 billion.

The Ministry of Finance reported that the Reserve Fund in August was sold 2,92 billion $ 2.46 billion euros and 0.31 billion pounds over 390 billion rubles to Finance the budget deficit. In June and July were no sales, and in may it sold currency in the same amount.
