Asked by journalists whether he thinks that the next President must be a representative of the “younger generation,” Putin said, Yes, that should be “young but Mature”.

The Bloomberg question was related to the recent reshuffles in the higher echelons of power. In particular, with the increase of some former Service of protection (FSO — ed.). We will remind that representatives of the Agency recently were appointed to the posts of heads of regions, in particular, in Kaliningrad oblast headed by a former employee of the FSO Yevgeny Senichev, in the Tula region Alexey Dyumin, former head of the Federal security service Viktor Zolotov became responsible for the National guard, etc.

Read why Putin does not fear for “Gazprom”.

According to Putin, “nothing new there”, and FSO is no worse than the Ministry of defence. The President expressed confidence that the main thing — that people wanted and could career to grow, and finally be approved by the new governors will see the outcome of the election.

If it’s between them and the people, Putin said, should be “chemistry”, otherwise will not vote for them.

We will add that in the same interview Putin again, as before, stated that she had not yet resolved the question of participation in presidential elections of 2018.
