The investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal district completed the investigation of criminal case about the attack on the village of Sagra in the Sverdlovsk region in the summer of 2011, informs on Wednesday a press-service SK of the Russian Federation.
“Depending on the role of each, the 23 participants of this crime was charged under articles 209, 212, 327, 119 of the criminal code (banditry, organization and participation in mass riots, forgery, threats of murder)”, – stated in the SC.
Investigators believe that the attack on Sagra was organized by the international gang, who, while serving sentence in places of deprivation of liberty, created Ivan Lebedev and Kakhaber Chichua. Also in the backbone of OPG included Shota Katamadze, Artyom Rabadanov, Magomed Bekov, Vitaly Slatinov, Kardash Fatah and the Feige of Musayev.
According to investigators, the services of the gang ran Vyacheslav and Valentin Lebedev who had a falling out with the residents of the village of Sagra (according to some sources, Lebedev was charged with drug trafficking, on the other – the conflict arose because of a dispute in the field of forestry business).
It should be noted that Lebedev was resettled in Sugrue recently. The locals called him Sergey-Roma. Later it turned out that he was wanted on charges of attacking a policeman and lived in the settlement on a false passport, issued in the name of Sergei Krasnoperov.
According to investigators, in order to intimidate local residents, in the summer of 2011 he called up his relative Ivan Lebedev, who was serving at the time a sentence in one of the Sverdlovsk colonies, and promised that 30 thousand rubles for the organization of the fearsome bandit RAID on the village of Sagra. Further events developed rapidly.
“On the orders of Ivan Lebedev Shota Katamadze, together with other members of the gang devised a plan to attack the village. Then in no time the members of the gang called their friends and gathered at least 30 people”, – stated in the SC.
The bandits armed with sawn-off shotguns of the hunting guns, traumatic guns, fittings, bits, chains and organized convoy of 13 cars went to the village of Sagra. Arriving at the place, the gang members began to threaten locals with violence.
“Demonstrating the weapons, the accused said in an address to the victims of death threats and fired several shots,” say the investigators.
It is noteworthy that the bandit RAID was carried out with the connivance of the local police, where the residents of Sagra asked for protection. Without support, the Urals themselves took up arms and joined in a real battle with the gang members. As a result of shooting one of the attackers – 28-year-old Azerbaijani from Ekaterinburg Farid Musayev – were killed.
Initially, the police arrested the defenders Sagra, imputing them hooliganism with use of weapons and murder. A resonance situation received publicity in the Ural and Federal mass media.
After clarification of circumstances of emergency in relation to the head of the police in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sredneuralsk urban districts of the Sverdlovsk region Marat Khalimova a criminal case was initiated under part 1 of article 293 of the criminal code (negligence). He was accused that he made a massive fight on its territory, despite the appeal of the inhabitants of Sagra. The detained defenders of the settlement were released.
Later investigation took sarchan all charges, arguing that they acted within self-defense. At present, all accused get acquainted with criminal case materials, the volume of which amounted to 40 volumes.
