As reported by “MK” in Mosoblstat, in August, on average, half a percentage point, prices fell for tomatoes, onions, potatoes, flour, cucumbers, dry soups in bags, muffin, semolina and soda water. But at the same time recorded a rise in price of coffee, vodka and even bagels. The increase in the price of beets (20.2%), grape (5.9%), lemons (5.4%), bananas (4.2%) and garlic (3.9%), but these products are not included in the minimum food set and their price increase did not affect the value of the basket. Incidentally, for the month the prices have risen primarily on those products that do not relate to edible products “essential” and therefore, reports Mosoblstat formed the illusion of “prosperity”. However, this illusion is able to dispel the minimum calculation: in August, the stores in Moscow region has risen more than 20 types of products.
