The situation with the arson of the building of the Ukrainian TV channel “inter” in Kiev has got a new twist. Adviser to the head of the interior Ministry Anton Gerashchenko suggested that the fire could be a provocation of the employees of the TV channel.
We will remind that as a result of the fire, according to the head of the National police, Khatia Dekanoidze, has been damaged 60 square meters of the building. In addition, those detained were 8 people. By itself, the fire started at 16.30 last Sunday: a group of about 20 people broke in front of the channel on Schuseva street, the house 26, the camp began to burn tires, and after the result, presumably, throw a smoke bomb and caught fire.
Gerashchenko noted the strangeness, which had previously stated and Dekanoidze: employees of the TV station after the fire, refused to give law enforcement video surveillance, resulting in “it had to withdraw the night under the decision of the investigator”.
Also Gerashchenko said that after the arson at the air of “inter “in the best traditions of Dima Kiselyov” was shown pepper spray “Teren”. It was said that such sprays are used by law enforcement and was made an allusion to the fact that the attack on the building was carried out with their participation.
In response, Gerashchenko said that “through Google found at least 50 places in Kiev, where a gas canister “Teren” you can buy anybody.” In this regard, he made the assumption “in the style of “inter” TV channel that “we cannot rule out the provocation of arson on the part of owners/managers of the channel”.
Note that the Ukrainian authorities recently regularly criticized the channel for its “Pro-Russian”. The reason for this was in particular revealed by hackers correspondence, allegedly owned by the former creative producer of the program “Details weeks” Maria Stolyarova, containing reports about the editorial policy of the channel in front of the “security” of the DNI.
In addition, in late August, interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov demanded to close the TV channel for his “anti-Ukrainian, anti-state position”. After the arson, he stated that he was committed by former soldiers of the 30th brigade, “United in this protest.”
At the moment, remains in question the fate of the people detained near the building, according to human rights activist Tatiana Bliznyuk, the police released six of them.
Various political forces have already begun to comment on the incident arson: so, Yulia Tymoshenko stated that “the destruction of Ukraine”, as it undermines investors ‘ trust. In a similar spirit he spoke and the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman: “I believe that corruption and crime must be punished with the sentence of the court.”
