Putin: the price of oil is unfair, but it suits Russia

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin spoke about the oil prices. At a press conference following his visit to China he stated that the current price is unfair – “could be a little higher.”

“But having in mind that we have a budget, as you know, typeset at the rate of $ 40 per barrel, it suits us”, – stated the head of state.

Earlier it became known about the intention of Russia and Saudi Arabia working together to maintain balance in the oil market. Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak reported that the parties are discussing the possibility of freezing of oil production for several months.
