Medvedev said about zeroing of export duties for grain


Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev during a trip to Astrakhan was informed that the government has decided to zero export duty on wheat for the next two years. It will give additional impetus to the development of the grain market, “Interfax”.

Earlier it was reported that the gross grain harvest this year will amount to 110 million tons. The internal requirements of Russia in grains amount to 72-74 million tons.The Ministry of agriculture said that thus Russia can supply the world market of 35-40 million tons of grain.
