The Guardian predicted that Merkel as Chancellor of Germany will be replaced by gay

German Chancellor Angela Merkel at her office can replace openly gay Jens span, journalists write Guardian. Span is a member of the “Christian democratic Union” and advocated restrictions for migrants, seeing a threat in the policy of openness pursued by Merkel and the growing radicalism on the one hand, the Muslims, with the other right-wing forces.

A few years ago span (he is now 36 years old) gave an interesting interview Spiegel — he said that, despite his homosexuality since childhood, felt in the Catholic Church “like at home” (he went to Catholic school and served in the temple). “To be gay – it wasn’t my choice,” said span, It was determined my nature.”

Policies advocated legal homosexual marriage and the rights of gays and lesbians to adopt children.

By law the Chancellor is elected for four years by the Bundestag. Angela Merkel belongs to the same party as Jens span, being the leader of the CDU since 2000.

Chancellor Merkel was in 2005 — she was nominated three parties (except the CDU, SPD and CSU). Another term re-election of German Chancellor in 2017. Now, however, analysts say that it may leave his post prematurely due to the increasing problems of migration.
