The head of South Korea uses the visit to Russia to put pressure on North Korea


South Korean President Park Geun-Hye intends to use upcoming meetings on the highest level, including with Russia, to increase pressure on North Korea to end its nuclear program.

“On the summit during a visit to Russia and Laos and the ASEAN summit, I want to discuss areas of cooperation in the economic development of the Far East and focus on the increasing pressure of the international community on North Korea to implement the resolutions of the UN security Council”, — quotes its words Agency Yonhap.

During the Eastern economic forum, Park Geun-Hye intends to visit Vladivostok on 2-3 September to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and then to participate in scheduled for September 6-8 summit of the Association of South-East Asia and East Asia summit in Laos.
