The latter dismantled the monument to Lenin in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine


The last monument to Vladimir Lenin standing in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine, was removed. He was in the village of Kosenivka. Now there is a bust of the poet Taras Shevchenko.

“In place of the dismounted leader to the independence Day of the bust of Kobzar”, – writes the edition UNN.

Recall, April 9, 2015, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted laws condemning Communist and Nazi totalitarian regimes, in connection with which local authorities are required to rename geographic features that have Soviet names, and to demolish all the monuments leaders of the Soviet period
