Kiev agreed to discuss with Livanov only the abolition of trade restrictions Russia


Kiev has agreed to work with the recently appointed Vladimir Putin, the Russian President’s special envoy on trade and economic cooperation with Ukraine Dmitry Livanov. However, as stated by the trade representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska, basically it will be a discussion of the abolition of the restrictions of the supply of a number of Ukrainian goods on the Russian market. While Kiev is not going to stop initiating proceedings against the Russian Federation to the WTO.

Cooperation with Dmitry Livanov will be conducted in the first place only on issue of removing trade restrictions that are on the territory of the Russian Federation concerning the Ukrainian goods. This statement was made to journalists on Thursday by the trade representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska, Prime.

However, she added that the appointment of a special representative Livanov Putin will not stop Kiev’s decision to initiate WTO proceedings with respect to imposing restrictions.

In addition, said Gaina, all contact with Livanov will take place in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Recently MKRU reported that Vladimir Putin has sent in resignation of the Minister of education and science of Russia Dmitry Livanov. Instead, the Ministry of education was headed by the Deputy chief of Department on public projects Administration President Olga Vasilyeva. On August 19, Putin signed a decree appointing Dmitry Livanov appointed special presidential representative for the development of trade-economic relations with Ukraine.
