The world’s largest aircraft crashed in the UK


In the UK crashed the biggest in the world the aircraft. Hybrid airplane, helicopter and airship first took to the air last week.

Airlander 10 fell to the ground during another test flight, reports Reuters. As a result of incident nobody has suffered.

Last week it was reported that the unit has successfully made its first flight in the terminal area Cardington approximately 73 kilometers North of London.

Airlander 10 is a hybrid vessel with a length of 92 meters, which can stay in the air for two weeks. The ship filled with helium, it uses less fuel than plane, but can take on Board more cargo than the airship.

Developer Hybrid Air Vehicles notes that the Airlander 10 is able to rise to a height of 4.9 kilometres and reach speeds up to 148 kilometers per hour.

It is noteworthy that originally the ship was intended for the American army, which intended to use it for reconnaissance purposes in Afghanistan.
