Poroshenko congratulated Ukrainians with independence and gave advice to “fellow Muscovites”

Today Ukraine marks the 25th anniversary since the Declaration of independence. In Kiev held a military parade, which was attended by the President Poroshenko. In his speech the head of state said that the parade is “the aggressor” that Ukraine is ready to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

At the same time, Kiev takes the Western partners a signal that Ukraine is able to defend itself, but at the same time needs help.

Concluded his speech Poroshenko quote from a poem by Vladimir Mayakovsky “Debt of Ukraine”.

“Ukrainians are ready to continue to defend our independence. The aggressor is better to recall the Council of the Russian poet Mayakovsky: “Comrade Moskal, Ukraine jokes are not rocks”.

Note that on the eve of independence day Ukrainian politicians and the military made a number of bellicose statements. In particular, the commander of the naval forces of the country Igor Voronchenko predicted that Kiev will restore control over the Crimea in the next year.

According to him, the Ukrainian Peninsula will be after “shaken the fragile balance of the Russian Federation”.
