Hackers attacked the Moscow Bureau of The New York Times

The New York Times reported about the hacker attack on its Moscow Bureau. It happened after the publication accused the Russian special services of hacking into the servers of the US Democratic party.

According to the official representative of the newspaper, Eileen Murphy, as a result of monitoring it was found that the internal resources of the media most likely was not hacked, the newspaper had not been asked to investigate the incident to anyone except its own personnel.

The source in the US government made it clear that the hacking FBI took over, but did not specify details.

According to CNN, referencing their data, with the attacks suffered by a number of media, not just The New York Times, unable to stand the Russian special services. That is The New York Times previously published materials, which indicated their possible involvement in the hacking of servers of the Democratic party: its national and fundraising (fundraising) committees as well as election headquarters of Hillary Clinton. The same was announced by Clinton herself.

Thus a press-the Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov denied any involvement of Russia, stating that its intelligence services never engaged in “cyberterrorism”.
