The new Minister of education and science of Russian Federation, Professor Olga Vasilyeva for the first time after his appointment appeared before the public: on Wednesday morning, she addressed the Public chamber.

As for orphans, Olga Vasiliev said that the Ministry of education plans to evaluate the work of organizations who deal with such children. The results of the monitoring, she said, will form the basis of regional and Federal plans to improve the quality of life of orphans. In addition, the Ministry of education is considering the creation of a “professional” foster families (when the guardians of orphans must meet special professional requirements, but in exchange for the qualification they receive a guaranteed cash consideration).

Olga Vasilieva has announced that the Ministry of education has no plans to take tough measures on the closure of branches of universities, and that she will do everything possible to ensure that the extracurricular time at the school was on parenting, not coaching for the exam.
