The Russian government has denied the cancellation of the contribution to WADA


Media reports that Russia will no longer pay additional annual voluntary contribution to the budget of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) in the amount of 300 thousand euros was inaccurate.

According to the Cabinet, redistribution of Russia’s contribution to the Fund for the eradication of doping the above fee does not apply. 100 thousand euros from 150 thousand originally envisaged from this contribution allocated to the budget of the UN for carrying out in Kazan of the sixth International conference of Ministers and senior officials responsible for physical education and sport.
