In Russia, a coalition of Communist and socialist parties and public organizations about this policy and activists announced today at a press conference in the Central house of journalists in Moscow.
The event was attended by head of the Russian Communist youth Union Darya Mitina, member of the Board of the Moscow regional branch of the interregional Association of Communists Alexander Kuvayev, first Secretary of the United Communist party Vladimir Lakeev, and member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the OKP, a human rights activist Denis Sommer and Secretary of the Moscow city Committee of the OKP of the labor movement Vladimir Strukov
The press conference participants explained the necessity of the coalition, in their opinion, on the basis of the Communist party to solidaritywith Communist forces impossible, because the party leadership that does not promote dialogue with the Communist party and the Moscow city Committee will not take place until they are guided by Gennady Zyuganov and Valery Rashkin, who “sold Marxism and socialism, pursuing a conciliatory policy. (Recall that on the website Change.org there was a petition for the resignation of Zyuganov as head of the Communist party — today she scored more than 10 thousand signatures).
Representatives of the emerging coalition believe that the head of the Communist party must stand modern, ambitious people — and called as such leader, Deputy of the Moscow city Duma, the head of the Communist faction, Andrei Klychkov, CPRF which “effectively excluded from the election campaign”, which is sad.
Daria Mitin in his speech mentioned a recent NTV film about the possible connection of representatives of the Communist party leadership with criminal structures — it is proposed to apply to the CEC to check the movie information.
Mitina, among other things, he described the work Valery Rashkin, the post of first Secretary MGK the Communist party: “Now the Lord Erskine only 5 thousand people according to official figures (members of the Communist party in Moscow, “MK”), in reality probably even less. That is, there is a decrease in the number of members of the Communist party in 5 times. The factor here is not the demographic… the Average age of members of the Communist party is quite young. However, the number of party members has been steadily declining”. Mitina added: “In Moscow the working committees simply fled, someone shattered, someone is trying to integrate into the party, bearing in mind that the majority of Communists are honest and decent people. In General, people have become hostages of this situation, and in this respect it is a pity”.
Alexander Kuvayev expressed opinion about the Communist party: “the Party concerned only parliamentary mandates, imitation of opposition, a parasite on the glorious past of the Communist movement. This process has gone too far…” He called the rank and file Communists “working material” for the party bosses and lashed out at the “uncontested” Zyuganov. According to Kuvaev, while he separates Zyuganov and the Communist party, as the party is a lot of people “willing to give his life for her”.
