As stated on the company website, now Serdyukov will lead two committees of the UEC — the strategy Committee and Committee for personnel and remuneration.

Recall that post in the government Serdyukov has held since 2007 to 2012 and was forced to leave in connection with the scandal around “Oboronservis”. After accusations of negligence Serdyukov was pardoned in 2014, not admitting his guilt.

UEC integrates more than 85% of engine capacities in Russia and is part of the holding company rostec.

The company Serdyukov came in November 2013 when he became CEO of the Federal research test center of mechanical engineering, also located in the structure of Rostec.

Later, in October 2015, Serdyukov was appointed industrial Director of Aviacenter “Rostec”, and in December of the same year he joined the Board of Directors of another structure of “Rostec” — “Helicopters of Russia”.
