Medvedev to dismiss Russian Paralympians: a blow for all disabled people

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev commented on the decision of the CAS on the removal of the Russian Paralympic games in Rio.

“It’s doubly cynical decision, as we are talking about people who daily overcome themselves”, – said the head of the Cabinet.

The whole story of the investigation of Russian doping “is a thick and very nasty cocktail, which is 80% policy and 20% of the doping,” wrote Medvedev in Facebook.

According to the head of the Russian government, the doping should be punished — both in relation to athletes, and to those “who stuffs their athletes doping, but only with substantial evidence of use of illegal drugs.
