Representatives of the left forces, reported today on their shares held on Monday, came to the statue to remember the victims of the collapse of the Soviet Union” and to demand to return the statue to Lubyanka square, where it had fallen during the suppression of the 1991 coup.

At the moment, the pedestal of the statues, previously carried on itself graffiti times 1991, laundered, it’s also re-gilded the name of the Creator of the Cheka.

The protesters said they did not recognize the Day of the Russian flag as the tricolour is considered “Vlasov” and in the merit of Dzerzhinsky take care of street children and its significance for world history.

We will remind that now on Lubyanka square instead of a monument to Dzerzhinsky was brought from the Solovki stone, which is a place of memory of victims of political repressions in the USSR.

Recall what Dzerzhinsky was the ideologist of mass terror in the first post-revolutionary years and even edited a magazine “the Red terror”.
