The Philippines can get out of the UN due to criticism of the murders of drug dealers


The Philippines government may decide “to secede from the UN.” Such loud statement was made at a press conference President Rodrigo ROA Duterte, reports The Guardian. At this step it can go because of criticism from the UN of its methods of combating drug trafficking.

Duterte stressed that the UN cannot solve the problems of hunger and terrorism, to resolve the crisis in Syria and Iraq, but instead is worried about the drug dealers in the Philippines.

He said he intends to invite China and Africa to create a new international organization.

Recall that the UN experts said on extrajudicial executions and killings of people in the Philippines, which according to the authorities involved in the drug trade. The UN has called on Manila to end this practice.

According to Western media, after the election of the President Duterte 30 June this year in the Philippines was killed about 900 people suspected of drug trafficking.
