Turkey intends to intensify its role in resolving the Syrian crisis


The Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim said on Saturday that the Turkish authorities believe that it is time to stop the bloodshed in Syria, where innocent people die. Therefore, Turkey intends to be more active to stop the risk of deterioration of the situation in the next six months, reports France Press.

The Turkish Prime Minister also said that it is necessary to prevent the division of the country along ethnic lines, commenting on the desire of the Kurds to autonomy.

Yıldırım did not elaborate on what measures it intends to take to Ankara, adding only that he hoped to find a solution on Syria, with the joint work of Iran, Gulf countries, USA and Russia.
