The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine intends to recover from “Gazprom” of $3 billion


Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), Yury Terentyev has informed that its Department has prepared the judicial claim about compulsory collecting with “Gazprom” of $ 3 billion.

According to him, the decision of the AMC, which in 2015 has fined “Gazprom” on 85,86 billion hryvnias for abuse of a monopoly position in gas transit will be implemented. At the same time, the objections of the Russian company that “Gazprom” does not conduct business activity on the territory of Ukraine, the court did not consider.

Terentyev said that, if “Gazprom” will not pay the fine, the AMC will go to court. “Materials have been prepared, the exact date I can not name” — he said.
