Lawyer mark Feigin, who defended a member of the group Pussy Riot, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Hope Savchenko, and are now involved in the processes against representatives of the banned in Russia of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, told our newspaper that she was restricted from leaving the country.
“It was a civil case, — has explained in interview to our edition Feigin, — in which after a court decision rendered June 20, I for 5 days fully paid in accordance with the statutory duty. But the pretext for this ban was that even before that, the next day, plaintiff was written by the time I check out. I do not relate to the merits of the civil case, it is negligible.
Of course, I’ll appeal the ban, will go to court. But it is clear that this is done in order that I could not make the planned trip to Warsaw, OSCE, PACE. This is done only in the case of the Crimean Tatars”.
Read how Feygin added protection of the Crimean Tatars at the meeting of Putin and Erdogan.
Recall that in the last days Feigin, together with his colleague Nicholas Polozova traveled to Kiev, where, in particular, gave a press conference on the Crimean Tatars.
