Russian President Vladimir Putin has demanded to prevent irresponsibility in connection with the problem of unavailability by the winter parts of the Komi Republic power system, which is responsible for the company “T Plus”. He stated that he will be asked to look into the matter of law enforcement.
In turn, the acting head of the Republic of Komi Sergei Gaplikov at the meeting with the President complained that the regional grid in recent years, hardly modernized, and the equipment is “in critical condition”.
In particular, it is reported that the Ministry of energy on August 9 admitted Vorkuta and INTA power system crisis and with the threat of disconnection. Gaplikov said that Vorkuta CHPP today belongs to PJSC “T Plus” and that the company is modernization brought the grid into a separate company with the aim to sell at auction.
