Media revealed details of the death of Russian security forces in Crimea


The source of “Kommersant” were the first to call names and positions of Russians killed during the operation to prevent terrorist attacks in the Crimea, and also spoke about how it clashes occurred.

About two o’clock in the morning of 7 August in the square near the border with Ukraine, the village of Suvorovo, which was a group of Kamenev, came the group arriving from abroad of armed men. As alleged saboteurs could be mixed with border guards, Roman Kamenev in the beginning shouted: “Stand, the FSB works!” and suggested suspicious visitors to put the weapon on the ground. However, after the officer gave himself, one of the commandos opened fire from a machine gun “the voice”, fatally wounding commander OOM.

Then the special forces eliminated two militants and three were disarmed and laid on the ground. It is not clear who actually shot the Roman Kamenev. The detainees are trying to shift the blame for his death on each other. According to the interlocutor of “Kommersant”, the Colonel can be promoted to the rank of Hero of Russia posthumously.

The source further said that after the battle in Suvorovo all day on 7 August in the Northern part of the Crimea was carried out search actions. To detect the second group of saboteurs managed to only 23 hours on the border with Ukraine, in wetlands near the Gulf Sivash.

Killers Sychev managed to escape. Russian paratroopers did not open fire as the bullets could get to near the house Ukrainian gardeners.

According to the FSB of the Russian Federation, acts of sabotage was prepared by the main intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine with the aim of destabilizing the situation in Crimea. According to the Russian security forces, the alleged accomplices of the saboteurs was Evgeny Panov and Andrew Sahta, they are both arrested.
