Crimean blogger Yury Ilchenko, who escaped from house arrest in Sebastopol, announced in Kiev.

When Yuri Ilchenko learnt that against it criminal case, then asked my dad to buy tickets to Lviv for the whole family, but the trip fell a few times for different reasons. A few days before his arrest, the jury complained to the father attempts to bring him to the terrorist attacks by unknown people. “A week before the arrest of the son approached the unknown woman with the proposal to extend the Sevastopol leaflets with calls to resist the invaders and to blow things up. The son sent her to hell.” – says Gennady Ilchenko. He also said that the FSB had planned to accuse his son of molesting underage female student at his school, but in the end the blogger made other accusations.
He was charged with article 280 and 282 of the criminal code “public calls to extremist activities and inciting ethnic hatred or enmity. In June 2016 Ilchenko was released under house arrest, which he served in his apartment in Sevastopol.
According to the blogger, it is understood that the term which he will serve more than 10 years is too huge, so he decided to escape. On the night of July 12, Ilchenko cut protective bracelet with a kitchen knife, and hitched to the border with Ukraine, Crimea. At night, he illegally crossed the border and this morning were already in Ukraine.
According to him, he had the money for a ticket to Nikolaev, where he regained his card, and went to Lviv. Now Ilchenko arrived to Kyiv to give an interview to Ukrainian journalists.
