Nazarbayev laid Poroshenko to Putin: Ukrainian President ready to compromise

The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said that his Ukrainian counterpart Petr Poroshenko during a telephone conversation expressed readiness to make concessions, and complained that is unable to adopt a law on special status of Donbass.


“Recently, Poroshenko called me that to accept the status of Donbass and the second region, which is there, makes no comment. ed) he has a majority in the Parliament”, – quoted Nazarbayev RIA Novosti.

The President of Kazakhstan noted that Poroshenko is inclined to find compromises, but eventually come to agreements is not possible.

“All these questions, of course, give you a burden for Russia, but they are solved”, – said Nazarbayev during the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the Minsk agreements, Kiev had until the end of last year a constitutional reform which meant decentralization and a special status for uncontrolled territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. However, their commitment of the Ukrainian authorities has not complied.
