Lavrov: relations with the West will recover


Russia does not intend to go into isolation, relations with the West sooner or later will return to the previous level.

The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, speaking to students of the Ural Federal University, commented on Russia’s relations with Western countries.

He said, quoted by TASS, the tragedy of the situation in Russian-German relations in Moscow no one does.

“Go into isolation is not our choice,” he said, adding that “sooner or later” relations with the West will return to a sustainable path.
