Expert: after the trial of the saboteurs Russia should bomb Kiev

On Monday, Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Kremlin has irrefutable evidence of guilt of Kiev in the preparation of acts of sabotage on the territory of Crimea and it’s ready to share them with their “Western partners”. The Minister stressed that it is not just about the information that has already been published.

Lavrov said this at a meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who admitted that Berlin does not have sufficient information to make a clear conclusion about the events in the Crimea. According to him, Moscow and Kiev offer opposing versions of events, therefore, Germany intends to wait for the results of the investigation both sides of the conflict.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is concerned that the West still has not condemned Russia for its statement on the saboteurs. To achieve the desired response, the Ukrainian leader intends to hold telephone talks with the heads of France and Germany Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel. No evidence Kiev is not reported.

Meanwhile, sources in the FSB announced that on August 15 the number of detainees in the case “Ukrainian saboteurs” has increased from 7 to 9 people. It is known that the “newcomers” received Russian citizenship. The investigation has 10 witnesses, some of which can proceed in the status of suspects. Recall, a veteran of the ATO Evgeny Panov and repeatedly tried Andrew Sahta had already been arrested for two months on suspicion of organizing a terrorist act and complicity in terrorist activities. The same charges threaten the rest of the defendants in the case.

According to the investigation, the saboteurs were operating in the classical manuals of scouts. To find the in the Crimea, is suitable for attacks, they pretended to be businessmen and called for the interest of their infrastructure. In particular, the engineer MUP “Victorious” Marlene said that Alex sandul (according to the FSB, Lieutenant Gur of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine) were offered to buy him devices water systems for their wells. In parallel, the Ukrainian militants made contact with the Crimean smugglers, who showed them the way of illegal border crossing.

In the night of 6 to 7 August four saboteurs on the boats crossed the Sivash and went to the village of Suvorovo under Armenian, where they had a cache of explosives. But near caches Ukrainians were waiting for the FSB. The next night in the Crimea tried to break two more terrorist groups, and near the checkpoint “Turkish shaft” on the part of the Peninsula Hell cover they provided tank and infantry fighting vehicles who opened fire on Russian territory. Border guards say that the enemy was ahead, perhaps in this way they wanted to distract the security forces that remain in Crimea saboteurs managed to sneak away to Ukraine.

Sources in the Kremlin reported that the Russian leadership is considering several options for response. Despite the fact that the severance of diplomatic relations with Kiev is the most extreme option, and the retaliation for “terrorist bases” generally we can not go, Moscow can resolve the militia DND and LNR to resume escalation of the conflict in the Donbas. In any case, will be strengthened security measures in the Crimea.

Experts of “MK” was told about some of the irrefutable evidence Lavrov said, and how they will affect Moscow’s relations with Kiev and the West:

Igor Korotchenko, chief editor of the magazine “national defense”:

— From the beginning Russia showed all existing evidence of the involvement of Kiev to sabotage incursions into the Crimea. As there is a consequence, evidence will grow, and Moscow will be to share them. But the West is pursuing a policy of double standards, he doesn’t want to accept Russian arguments.

With regard to relations with Ukraine, that, in my opinion, it is necessary to launch a missile attack on camps of international terrorists in its territory. Also needed a blow to the headquarters of the Ukrainian military intelligence, if during the upcoming trial will be conclusive proof of the involvement of its managers and employees in the preparation and sending of terrorists in the Crimea. That is what US in the course of their campaign against international terrorism. Russia’s actions will be fully based on the UN Charter and international law.

Fyodor LUKYANOV, chief editor of the magazine “Russia in global politics”:

In recent years, such a thing as “irrefutable evidence” no longer exists. Virtualization of the political life and divergent pictures of what is happening has led to profound alienation of everything that comes from the opposite side. All this is obviously considered unreliable. For example, it was in the stories of the downed “Boeing” and the Russian military in the Donbass. Russia has published its evidence about the involvement of Kiev to catch the saboteurs, but in the West they say that everything is either falsified or obtained under torture. However, while the reaction of the United States and the European Union are relatively mild. Apparently the West understands or knows that the Ukrainian version of events, too, to put it mildly, is not quite accurate. We see appeals to both sides not to escalate the situation, and this means that the West supports Ukraine minimal way possible. If they were sure about the Russian provocations, all statements would have been much tougher. What is the result, it is difficult to say. After the first sharp statements of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin hung a pause. Perhaps in this way an attempt is made to deduce from deadlock negotiations process in the Donbass.
