The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine has threatened to introduce visas for Russians


The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that Kiev would return to consideration of a question on introduction of visas for Ukrainian citizens. However, he urged not to take hasty decisions, stressing that rash actions can hit Ukrainians in Russia. And, according to the Minister, in Russia no less than four million.

Klimkin said that Kiev and without the introduction of visas has tightened the rules of entry of Russian citizens on the territory of Ukraine. Now they can enter the country only on foreign passports only through international and interstate checkpoints.

While Klimkin doubted whether the introduction of visas a reliable barrier in the way of Russian agents. “A definite answer I do not see here,” said the Minister.

The Minister confident that the introduction of visas for Moscow immediately uses these changes for propaganda purposes. In his opinion, the Russian media, for example, start to talk about older people who are unable to visit a relative in Ukraine, writes “Browser”.

Klimkin also said why Ukraine continues to maintain diplomatic relations with Russia. “The main aim of these diplomatic relations is that we can help the Ukrainians on the territory of the Russian Federation more than 4 million”, he added.

Note that after the recent clashes with Ukrainian saboteurs in the Crimea, which killed two Russian soldiers and the already difficult relations between Moscow and Kiev deteriorated even more.

In Russian political circles do not rule out the possibility of rupture of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which in the last few years are purely technical in nature (read the details in our material).
