Ukraine may convene a meeting of the UN security Council on the situation in Crimea


Permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko said that the security Council of the world organization may meet in extraordinary session on the situation around Crimea at any time, calling provocation the statements of Russia about the preparation of terrorist attacks in the region.

“We are ready to any further provocations and consider the possibility of convening a meeting of the UN security Council… if necessary, it will be done immediately,” he said.
