Great Britain defeated Russia in the case of direct conflict, as it has a more effective weapon. This is stated in a secret report on the state of the British armed forces, published by the Times newspaper.

We are talking about the Russian rocket launchers and air defense systems. As an example, the paper examines MLRS BM-30 “Smerch”, which is able to fire on targets at a distance up to 90 km, which is 30 km further than its British counterpart.

Among other benefits, to the attention of the experts, is Russia’s use of electronic means to intercept the enemy drones and military radio signals. The report says that London and its allies were doing everything possible to catch up with Russia in this area, but has not yet succeeded.

In addition, warn the authors of the document, the British military needs to be better aware of issues of online tactics to avoid becoming a target of Moscow in social networks Facebook and Twitter. In this regard, they are advised to abandon the use of mobile phones and tablets during the exercise.

“In the unlikely event of a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia, we should recognize that Russia currently has a significant advantage over the UK (…) We must find a way to “fight smarter” at the tactical level, while recognizing that some of our opponents are better armed than us,” the report said.

Telegraph journalists claim that the document was created in March under the leadership of commander-in-chief of the British army sir nick Carter. The report is based on the alleged teachings that took place in Ukraine.

In late July, Prime Minister Theresa may announced that London is ready to use nuclear weapons to intimidate Moscow. She stressed that Russia, like North Korea, are “a source of serious threat.” In the Kremlin these words are received with regret.
