MFA: Moscow is ready to negotiate with the United States in the bout and Yaroshenko

The Russian foreign Ministry Commissioner for human rights, democracy and the rule of law Konstantin Dolgov said that Moscow is “absolutely ready” for dialogue with the United States to return prisoners to the American authorities of Russians Viktor bout and Konstantin Yaroshenko.

“If American authorities agree to a substantive consideration of these international legal options for the return of our citizens,” he said. However, this stage Moscow and Washington have not yet reached — “the fault of the American authorities,” said Debts.

Yaroshenko was sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges in the preparation of conspiring to ship to the United States from Liberia quantities of drugs. Earlier Yaroshenko appealed to Russia with a request to intervene in the situation, noting the numerous violations by the American authorities.
