Kiev accused Moscow of partial blocking of the border with the Crimea

The state frontier service of Ukraine accused the Russian side in the blocking of the crossing into the Crimea at the checkpoint “Kalanchak”. This is reported by Ukrainian mass media with reference to the press-Secretary Oleg Slobodyan. On Monday morning at the checkpoint of entry-departure “Chongar” traffic is, but very slowly.

At the same time at the point “Chaplynka” the Russian border guards only allow entry to the Crimea, transfers “Корресподент.net”. At the same time Slobadan noted that the situation on the border remains tense, but controlled.

Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities announced the temporary suspension of admission of people and vehicles through all three checkpoints on the border with Crimea. While in Kiev said that it has taken this decision in response to similar actions of the Russian authorities. A few hours later the traffic was resumed.

The media however, there is evidence that this was due to an attempt of sabotage on the border when Ukrainian security forces tried to break into the territory of the Peninsula.

In the beginning of last week the Crimean border guard service accused the Ukrainian colleagues rudeness. The Department stated that the Ukrainian security forces disrespectful to foreign visitors. In addition, the discontent of the Russian side caused the slowness of the Kiev border guards.
