Erdogan called Putin a friend: without Russia, the Syrian problem cannot be solved

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview with first Deputy Director General of TASS Mikhail Gusman said he hoped for talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg.

“At the talks with my friend Vladimir, I believe, will open a new page in bilateral relations”, – said the Turkish leader.

In addition, he said, without the participation of Russia is impossible a settlement in Syria: “Only in cooperation with Russia we will be able to resolve the crisis in Syria,” he said.
