Ambassador of Ukraine: Kiev bewildered by trump about the Crimea

Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly in the article on the website of the American publication the Hill said that Ukrainian authorities “don’t know what to think” after the statements of the candidate in US presidents from Republican party of Donald trump about the Crimea. Recall that trump said about the desire of Crimea to be with Russia, which should be considered. In addition, the attempt by force to take the Crimea will lead to a global war, he said.

Chaly noted that trump statements contradict the program of the Republicans because they support the violation of the territorial integrity of the country. He also disagreed with trump’s assessment of the results of the Crimean referendum, saying that he was held at gunpoint and did not consider the interests of the Crimean Tatars.
