Ulyukayev expects deflation in August


On the eve of Rosstat reported that in the period from 26 July to 1 August was recorded in the country weekly deflation of 0.1%, which was the first time since September 2011.

The Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev called it expected.

“I think we are still in August, will see it. Do not be surprised if month-on-month deflation, a week”, – he said.

But in September, the Minister believes deflation is unlikely, although “it happens.
