The Bank of Russia explained Lithuania, why has issued commemorative coins to Vilnius


The Central Bank responded to the claim of the Lithuanian foreign Ministry on the issue of Russian coins with the image of Vilnius.

According to the regulator, that would not have happened in the world after the Second world war, the victory over fascism “for Europe and for the world” bessporno remains important.

“This victory is dedicated to a series of memorable coins of Bank of Russia”, — noted in the Central Bank.
