DNR: Donbass could erupt at any moment through the fault of Kiev

The envoy of the self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic in the contact group Denis Pushilin warned about the threat of renewed large-scale hostilities in the South-East of Ukraine. This will be the case if the Ukrainian government continues to shell the territory of Donbass and does not fulfill at least the first three points of the Minsk agreements.

Denis Pushilin stated that the situation in the conflict zone and is complicated with each passing day, and no progress after next negotiations no. According to him, over the last five or six days the situation has escalated to the maximum.

“The situation remains tense, any moment it can erupt and escalate into full-fledged clashes. Ukraine is not fulfilling its obligations in military and political sphere”, — said the representative of DND in an interview with the newspaper “Izvestia”.

According to the Minsk agreements the conflicting parties in particular are obliged to cease fire, withdraw heavy weapons at equal distances to create a security zone and to ensure effective monitoring of the ceasefire.

The leaders of Russia, France, Germany and Ukraine signed a document entitled “Complex of measures on implementation of Minsk agreements” in February 2015. However, in early March, the foreign Ministers of these countries acknowledged the lack of implementation of the agreements.
