“It is imperative that Russia itself has refrained from conducting offensive operations and would have kept the Assad regime, while our responsibility is to ensure that the opposition refrained from involvement in such operations”, – said on Monday U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry.

The situation in Syria commented on by the Pentagon. There is again stressed that the us military do not cooperate and exchange information with their Russian counterparts in Syria and does not intend to do this in the future, reports “Interfax”.

The representative office of Michelle Baldanza said that the military of the United States and Russia meet regularly in the framework of the Memorandum of understanding on ensuring safety of flights over Syria.

“We are interested that our military actions do not lead to disasters,” she said.

We will remind that yesterday in the Syrian province of Idlib was shot down by Russian Mi-8 helicopter, killing three crew members and two officers from the Center for reconciliation of the warring parties. In response to the Russian aircraft, according to media reports, launched a series of strikes on militants.
