The court found guilty ex-the mayor of Yaroslavl Urlashov


In Yaroslavl, a Court convicted opposition leader, former mayor Yevgeny Urlashov under two articles of the criminal code — attempted bribe and receiving, as well as mediation in bribery. Along with him were found guilty, his Deputy Dmitry Donskov and Advisor to Aleksei Lopatin, writes “Kommersant”.

The state Prosecutor demands for Urlashov a fine of 500 million rubles and 15 years of strict regime colony. The ex-mayor pleaded not guilty, calling the political process. During sentencing, he read a book.

Sentencing will be completed on Tuesday.
